If anyone missed last night's first installment of A History of Christianity you can watch it again on BBC iPlayer. I thought it was fascinating. Diarmaid MacCulloch is a great presenter as well as a brilliant historian. I especially enjoyed his demonstration of the Arian controversy using glasses of water mixed with oil and wine! The program was very effective in showing Christianity's origins in the Middle East and that in the early centuries it successfully spread towards the Far East. I thought it was a great programme and I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

Thanks for the reminder Andy... we were busy having to use the Euro football to drown out some of the local fireworks from our nutty dog!
Don't start me on fireworks! Our dog absolutely hates them and I'll be glad when they are all finished.
